Pastel Nagomi Art
Japanese Pastel Nagomi Art was pioneered by Mr. Hosoya Norikatsu. This art form uses the properties of dry pastels and soft colors, making use of fingers and unique techniques to create artwork. It is suitable for all ages, including children, adults and seniors, and requires no prior art experience. Participants can experience a sense of healing and tranquility and rekindle their inner passion for life.
Mr. Norikatsu established the Japanese Pastel Hope Arts Association (JPHAA) in 2003. All Pastel Nagomi Art instructors must complete the JPHAA’s accredited instructor courses and obtain certification before teaching their own classes.
